Delete Your Verras Account

You can request deletion of your Verras account at any time. This page explains how to do it and what happens to your data.

Delete from the mobile app

  1. Open the Verras Guard app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  3. Read the disclosure, confirm your password, and type DELETE to confirm.
  4. You'll receive a confirmation email and be signed out immediately.

Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email us at privacy@verras.ai from the email address on your account. Include:

  • The email address associated with your Verras account
  • The name of your employer / company
  • The phrase "Account deletion request"

We'll verify your identity and process the request within 10 business days.

What gets deleted

After a 30-day grace period, the following are permanently deleted:

  • Name, email address, phone number
  • Profile photo and identifying details
  • Active sessions and mobile push tokens
  • Personal preference and notification settings

What is retained (anonymized)

Some records are retained to comply with U.S. labor and tax law, and for our customers' compliance obligations as your employer of record. These are anonymized — the link to you as an individual is removed:

  • Time entries (clock-in / clock-out timestamps, hours worked)
  • Audit-log entries (system events, with personal identifiers removed)

These records are kept for the period required by applicable law and your employer's policies, typically 3 to 7 years for payroll and timekeeping records.

30-day grace period

After you request deletion, your account is locked and scheduled for permanent deletion in 30 days. You'll receive a reminder 7 days before the deletion is finalized. If the request was a mistake, contact your account owner or privacy@verras.ai to cancel before the grace period ends.

Account owners

If you are the sole owner of a company account, you cannot delete your own user account without first transferring ownership or closing the company. Contact support@verras.ai for help with company closure.
